555 Work

Begining in 2008 I have coodinated art shows at 555 none-profit Gallery and Studios in Detroit. At the Grand River and Warren Avenue Location I ran a weekly series. At the Michigan Avenue location I curated monthly shows.

Consumputous Consumerism was an exhibit on July 11, 2009 about over consumption, it also showed the documentry "I Love Trash". My piece was a set-up of shopping bags with odds & ends from my basement. Viewers were encouraged to engage the piece and take things with supplied plastic bags.

The Remnants of Technology Show on July 24, 2009 was an installation piece with a variety of artist to build a found object sculpture from a variety of old computer parts. The end result was a city of technology model with gardens, roadways, ramps, parks, factories and a Cathedral of Technology.
